DIRICKX Systems Attends the Defence Leaders Combat Engineer & Logistics Exhibition 2024 in Warsaw, Poland

Last week, DIRICKX Systems’ Director, Nicolas Richter, Operations Director, Adam Robinson, and Regional Sales Director, Ben Jenkins, visited Warsaw for the Combat Engineer & Logistics Exhibition, CEL 2024. Ben, a former Royal Engineer, was on-hand throughout the three-day event to share his expertise and experience in Force Protection with members of the global military engineering and logistics community.

The exhibition is organised by Defence Leaders, whose goal is to foster collaboration, promote dialogue and facilitate networking between key stakeholders in the defence industry and armed forces, through a portfolio of best-in-class military exhibitions. Now in its tenth year, the Combat Engineer & Logistics Exhibition aims to help nations and organisations “improve both their short-term preparedness in light of recent events and develop their future force design, which will influence their procurement objectives for years to come.”

Taking place over three days, CEL 2024 hosted over 130 exhibitors, and welcomed more than 1,300 attendees representing 55 nations. Guests heard from 112 expert speakers in the global combat engineering & logistics space on a broad range of issues, from shortfalls in capability, to technological advancements, service-based solutions, and future defence industry trends.

Billy Bate, Sales Manager for Defence Leaders and event organiser said:

“It’s always exciting to see new businesses enter the industry, particularly those who represent UK manufacturing, which is why we were happy to support DIRICKX Systems at CEL 2024. Thanks to a record number of exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees, this year was the best CEL to date. Plans are already underway for next year’s exhibition, which is set to be even bigger and better than this year’s, so we hope to see the DIRICKX team there!”

CEL 2024 was DIRICKX Systems’ first official exhibition, and we were happy to show our support by sponsoring the tote bags, notepads and pens which were gifted to attendees.

DIRICKX Systems’ Ben Jenkins said:

“CEL 2024 was a fantastic event. Over the three days, we had the opportunity to network with other defence industry professionals and make some valuable contacts for the future, as well as learning more about the latest developments in the field. As a bonus, we also got to reconnect with several old colleagues and friends! A big thank you to Billy Bate for his part in putting on such a great event, and for supporting DIRICKX Systems. We’ll certainly be back next year.”
